Join us for an unforgettable mountain cabin adventure!
Experience the Norwegian wilderness up close with dog sledding, and enjoy a cozy overnight stay in a mountain cabin. Perfect for adventure seekers wanting to explore the mountains with our Alaskan Huskies. Depending on the weather, we might enjoy a calm ride with sunshine and panoramic mountain views—or we may find ourselves working hard on the sled with wind and blowing snow in our faces. In the cabin, a warm and cozy atmosphere awaits as the heat from the wood stove fills the room and dinner simmers. A visit to the outdoor toilet might make the experience even more memorable, and since mobile coverage isn’t guaranteed, you can truly disconnect and unwind.
Day 1: Meet at the kennel at 10:00 AM, where you’ll learn how to drive the sled and how to harness and prepare your dog team. Two people share each sled, so you’ll have the chance to both drive and ride as a passenger. Once all teams are ready, we begin the journey toward the cabin, with a lunch break by the campfire along the way. Upon arrival, everyone helps unharness the dogs, guides them to their spots, and feeds them before we settle into the cabin.
Day 2: We start by feeding the dogs, then prepare breakfast for ourselves. After packing up, we get ready for another day of dog sledding, with lunch en route. We return to the kennel and thank the dogs for the tour before heading to the guesthouse for a warm shower and a delicious dinner—followed by a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3: After a hearty breakfast, it’s time for departure.
